Terms & Conditions Policy
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Kitts Kitchen Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) including catering, event services, Kitts Presents events, and any related products or digital services.
By using our website or booking our services, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions

Client / You: The individual, company or organisation booking our services.

Event: Any catering, dining, or cultural experience delivered by This Is Kitts Ltd.

Services: Food, drink, staffing, styling, hire, event production, delivery or consultation.
2. Bookings
A booking is confirmed once:

The client accepts a written quote, and
-
A 25% non-refundable deposit is paid.
Dates cannot be held without a deposit.
Final details must be confirmed at least 10 days before the event.
3. Payments
-
Deposit: 25%
-
Final balance: Due 10 days before the event
-
Payment method: Bank transfer unless otherwise agreed

Late payment may delay service or result in cancellation
4. Cancellation (Summary)
Full Refund & Cancellation Policy appears separately, but here is the summary:

21+ days before event: Deposit retained
-
20–7 days before event: 50% of total balance due
-
Less than 7 days: 100% of total balance due
No refunds are issued for reduced guest numbers after final numbers are confirmed.
5. Changes to Menu / Guest Numbers

Menu adjustments must be finalised 7 days before the event

Increases to guest count will be charged accordingly
-
Reductions in guest count will not reduce the final invoice after confirmation
-
Substitutions may be made if ingredients become unavailable
6. Dietary Requirements & Allergens
We handle major allergens in our kitchen.
We cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.
Clients must inform us of all allergies at booking stage.
Full allergen policy is provided separately.
7. Delivery & Travel
Standard delivery pricing:

0–5 miles (B23): Free
-
5–15 miles: £10–15
-
15–30 miles: £20–30
-
30+ miles: Quoted individually
For regular catering bookings delivery can be negotiated.
Travel charges may include fuel, mileage and staffing time.
8. Venue Requirements
The client must ensure:

Adequate access for setup and breakdown

Electricity, water, and prep space if required
-
Safe working conditions for staff
-
Parking availability
Clients are responsible for fees or penalties imposed by the venue (e.g., parking fines, access delays).
9. Equipment Hire
If we provide hired equipment (chafers, platters, crockery, styling items, linens):

The client is responsible for damage, loss or breakage
-
Replacement fees will be charged at cost
-
Items must be returned clean unless agreed otherwise
10. Staffing
Where staffing is included or added on:

Staff arrival and finish times will be stated in the booking

Overtime is charged hourly

Additional staff may be required based on event size
Staff behaviour, safety and rights are protected under our Event Staffing Policy.
11. Photography & Media
By attending an event, clients acknowledge that:

We may capture photography or videography of food, décor or service

Guests will never be photographed without consent
-
Images may be used for marketing unless the client requests otherwise in writing

12. Liability
We are not liable for:

Delays caused by traffic, weather or venue access
-
Injury or issues arising from unsafe venue conditions
-
Food safety issues caused by mishandling after delivery
Our liability is limited to the value of the booking.
13. Website Use
By using thisiskitts.com, you agree not to:

Reproduce or misuse any content or imagery

Attempt to breach security or misuse data
-
Distribute our materials without written consent
All intellectual property belongs to Kitts Kitchen Ltd.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
