Delivery Policy

This Delivery Policy outlines how we deliver food, equipment and event items for catering, cultural experiences and Kitts Presents events.

1. Delivery Areas

We deliver from our base in B23 (Birmingham) to:

  • Birmingham

  • North Warwickshire

  • The wider West Midlands

  • UK-wide for large or special events

 

Travel charges apply as below.

2. Delivery Fees

Delivery fees are calculated based on the distance from B23:

  • 0–5 miles: Free

  • 5–15 miles: £10–£15

  • 15–30 miles: £20–£30

  • Over 30 miles: Quoted individually

 

Fees include fuel, travel time, loading, and staff labour.

 

Large events may incur higher travel and staffing charges depending on the number of team members required.

3. Delivery Time Windows

We offer deliveries within agreed time slots.
Your delivery window will be confirmed during booking.

We will always aim to deliver within the agreed time, but delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic

  • Road closures

  • Weather

  • Venue access challenges

 

If delays occur, we will update you immediately.

4. Access Requirements

Clients must ensure that the venue is safe and accessible for delivery.
Access must include:

  • Parking or loading space

  • Clear entry routes for equipment

  • Working lifts if above ground floor

  • Doors wide enough for equipment

  • No hazardous conditions

 

If access is delayed or unsafe, additional waiting charges may apply.

5. Food Delivery & Handling

All hot and cold food is delivered in line with UK food safety standards.

Once delivered:

  • The client is responsible for safe storage and temperature control

  • Hot food should be consumed within 2 hours

  • Cold food should be kept refrigerated if not served immediately

 

We cannot accept liability for food safety once the delivery has been completed and signed for.

6. Setup Options

We offer two delivery formats:

A. Delivery Only

Includes:

  • Food prepared and packaged

  • Delivery to your location

  • Drop-off service

 

Does NOT include:

  • Setup

  • Styling

  • Equipment

  • Staff

 

B. Delivery + Setup

Includes:

  • Table set-up

  • Styling

  • Chafers, platters & serve ware

  • Light garnishing

  • Optional staffing

 

Setup time will be agreed during booking.

7. Equipment Hire Delivery

If your booking includes equipment (chafers, platters, crockery, décor):

  • Equipment will be delivered and collected at agreed times

  • Items must be treated with care

  • Damaged or lost items will be charged at replacement value

8. Failed Delivery

If we arrive and cannot complete the delivery due to:

  • No access

  • No contact from the client

  • Incorrect address

  • Unsafe location

  • Parking restrictions

 

We will wait up to 15 minutes, after which:

  • The delivery is considered fulfilled, or

  • A redelivery fee may apply if possible

 

No refunds are given for failed deliveries outside our control.

9. UK-Wide Delivery for Kitts Presents

For special events and cultural experiences outside the West Midlands:

  • Travel and accommodation (if required) will be quoted individually

  • Extra staffing or specialist equipment may be added

  • We will coordinate all logistics with the venue or event partner

10. Agreement

By confirming your booking, you agree to this Delivery Policy.
